Fhallon Ware-Gilmore, PhD, serves as the Principal Public Health Entomologist with the Puerto Rico Vector Control Unit (PRVCU). She is a PhD-trained vector ecologist with expertise in medical entomology, epidemiology, and operational vector control focused on reducing vector-borne disease risk. Her work integrates ecological and epidemiologic approaches to support integrated vector management, evaluation of emerging control tools, and interdisciplinary collaboration with federal, academic, and industry partners. Dr. Ware-Gilmore supports initiatives that translate scientific data into practical public health strategies, strengthening sustainable, evidence-based programs that protect communities across Puerto Rico, multiple U.S. territories, and international partner sites in Latin America and the Pacific
